RESIN COMPOSITION FOR SEALING GASKET IN NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE BATTERY, GASKET AND NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition capable of providing a gasket for hermetically sealing the interval between a metallic case (a positive electrode tube) and a sealing plate (a negative electrode terminal block) of a nonaqueous electrolyte battery so as to be insulated condition excellent in heat resistance and water resistance and also excellent in flow properties when molded, the sealing gasket for the nonaqueous electrolyte battery obtained by using the resin composition and the nonaqueous electrolyte battery using the gasket. SOLUTION: This resin composition for sealing gasket in nonaqueous electrolyte battery is composed of the resin composition comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. of an alkenyl aromatic-based resin and (B) 30-150 pts.wt. of a polyphenylene ether-based resin. The sealing gasket for the nonaqueous electrolyte battery is obtained by using the resin composition and the nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprises the gasket.
