摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acetate fiber accentuating a dry feeling characteristic of the acetate fiber and further having a luster and silky feeling and an aggregation thereof and to provide a method for producing the acetate fiber. SOLUTION: This modified cross-sectional cellulose acetate fiber is characterized in that the fiber is a cellulose acetate fiber having >=45% mean degree of acetylation, has an H-shaped cross section and simultaneously satisfies the following conditions: b/a=2.8-4.5, d/c=2.8-4.5 and d/b=0.85-1.11 [(a) denotes the width of the thinnest part at a central thin part; (b) denotes the overall length in a longitudinal direction; (c) denotes the length of narrowest part in a transverse direction at a central concavity part; and (d) denotes the overall length in the transverse direction]. A spinneret having a spinning nozzle the shape of which is formed by cutting a part of a circle with two parallel and same-length straight lines and the anglesθformed by both ends of the straight line and the center of the circle is >=70 deg. and <=100 deg. is used for carrying out dry spinning in the method for producing the modified cross-sectional cellulose acetate fiber.
