PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the replacement of an application roll is necessary according to the variation of width in an object to be coated. SOLUTION: This roll coating device is equipped with a means to convey an object to be coated, an application roll for applying a liquid coating material to the object to be conveyed by a conveyor, a counter-member which is opposed to the application roll and holds the object in between and an adjusting means for adjusting the width of the liquid coating material supported by the application roll.
