PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a foamed container which is free from the collapsing of air bubbles and shows a good foaming state and further, is lightweight, and is of a high strength and a presentable appearance. SOLUTION: In a process to manufacture a foamed container using a foamed parison, a parison with a varying section shape to the sectional dimensions of a container is used and the blow ratio of each part of the container during blow molding is 2.5 or less and the blow pressure is 3×105 Pa or less as the molding characteristics of the foamed container.
