PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable water-jet type electric washing machine that can efficiently wash the laundry of various fabrics through a change in the flow velocity of washing water flowing into and out of its rotary inner tub. SOLUTION: This variable water-jet type electric washing machine employs an rotary inner tub 2 provided with water-jet vanes 4 and a multitude of perforations through which washing water can flow easily. Outside the rotary inner tub 2, a center-displacement adjusting outer tub 3 is disposed so that the clearance between them both is changeable between an even and an uneven state.
