PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocker joint pin type silent chain having improved strength and reduced noise. SOLUTION: This rocker joint pin type silent chain 10 is formed into an endless shape by connecting a guide link row 12 to an indirect link row 14 by a rocker joint pin 16. A long pin 16a is fitted to a guide plate 18, a long pin 16a is inserted through an inner link plate 20 of the guide link row, and a short pin 16B is inserted through an inner link plate 22 of the indirect link row. The long pin 16a and the short pin 16b of the rocker joint pin 16 have the same sectional shape and are formed into a straight shape in the width direction. The long pin 16a fitted to the guide plate 18 is deformed into a projecting shape in a pin hole 28 of the inner link plates 20, 22 toward the short pin 16b.
