PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for a desiccant having a low moisture permeability of about 100 to 160 g/m2.24 H of water vapor permeability. SOLUTION: The gas permeable packaging material 10 for a desiccant comprises a gas permeable base material 11, a print layer 12, an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin layer 13 containing a vinyl acetate content of 12 to 19%, a network-like reinforcing material layer 14 and an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin layer 15 containing a vinyl acetate content of 12 to 19% in such a manner that the material and the layers are sequentially laminated.
