PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and in a short time carry out the centering of the polishing shank for a lens polishing device. SOLUTION: In the lens polishing device, a lens is polished while the lens is brought into surface contact with the lens polishing shank 4 rotating the lens and is pressedly oscillated on the spherical central axis of the polishing shank 4. The device is provided with a holder 1 with an inserting hole 1a into which the stem part 4c of the polishing shank 4 is inserted for holding the polishing shank 4, a supporting part 3 positioned in the inserting end part 4d of the stem part 4c in the inserting hole 1a for displaceably supporting the inserting end part 4d of the stem part 4c, and a fixing member 2 fitted to the holder 1 at a position apart from the supporting part 3 and abutted on the polishing shank 4 from the circumference for fixing the shank 4 to the holder 1.
