<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed styrenic resin-dissolving device, a foamed styrenic resin-recycling device and a foamed styrenic resin-dissolving treatment method which enable the extremely efficient treatment of the foamed styrenic resin. SOLUTION: A foamed styrenic resin-dissolving agent comprising isopropyl bromide and/or normal propyl bromide is stored in the bottom portion of a dissolution tank 6. The stored liquid 4 is heated and evaporated with a heater 8. The produced vapor of the dissolving agent 4 is brought into contact with foamed styrenic resin 10 on the upper net rack 12 of the dissolving tank 6 to produce polystyrene. The produced polystyrene is dropped together with the dissolving agent and recovered in the stored liquid 4 in the bottom portion of the dissolving tank 6. The recovered dissolving agent is again heated and evaporated to bring into contact with the foamed styrenic resin 10.</p> |
