PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splicing method for a retreaded tire requiring no adhesive. SOLUTION: A retreaded tire is produced by directly bonding the ends of a precured tire tread mutually by using a thermally extruded splice strip of natural or synthetic rubber. A retreaded tire wherein an uncured cushion is provided between the tire tread and a buffed carcass is subsequently heated to cure a tread splice and a tire cushion.
