PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sustained release oral preparation composite, especially a preparation composite used for curing and preventing heart diseases such as stenocardia, cardiac infarction or other vascular heart diseases, brain diseases, cardiovascular diseases such as peripheral diseases and the like and/or their symptoms/syndromes and provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A novel sustained release preparation composite contains multiparticle 5-isosorbide mononitrate and acetylsalicylic acid characterized by a production method consisting of a) a primary process for mixing sustained release particles of 5-isosorbide mononitrate with acetylsalicylic acid particles and a medicinal excipient and homogenizing them, b) a process for dividing the aforesaid mixture into orally administering units capable of maintaining individuality and physical integrity of 5-isosorbide mononitrate particles.
