PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a necessity of a corrugated cardboard or the like which has been used to hold several shelf boards together to prevent the movement of the shelf boards due to the vibration or the falling of the shelf during transportation, damaging the shelf or the shelf boards themselves, to save the labor of putting the shelf boards in place on the shelf at the site where the shelf is installed, to require smaller force than by the conventional method of pushing in the shelf boards from above, and to allow the shelf boards to be removed easily by nails of fingers, etc., by making easily understandable which parts should be removed to remove the shelf boards in order to eliminate the user's uneasiness about their breaking the shelf boards when changing the positions of the shelf boards due to the conventional puzzling method of removing the shelf boards and large force required to remove them. SOLUTION: Shelf boards fasteners are formed in such a shape as to hold a shelf board from up and down. Each of the fasteners is provided with a thin plate-like elastic member to be put on a side face of the shelf board when putting the fasteners on the shelf board. Each of the fasteners can be put on the shelf board with the elastic member being bent. Because of such structure of the fasteners, the shelf boards do not come off the fasteners even if there is vibration or the shelf falls down. The shelf can be transported with the shelf boards put in place on the shelf before shipped from the factory.
