PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display more exactly tissue properties or morphology of biological body that is an information source of biological tissue using a fluorescent image displaying method and equipment of self-fluorescence generated from biological tissues by irradiation of excitation light. SOLUTION: Self-fluorescence Kj generated from biological tissues 1 by irradiation of excitation light Lr irradiated from an endoscopes unit 200 and the reflected reference light reflected by the biological tissue 1 that received reference light Ls irradiated from the endoscopes unit 200 is obtained by an imaging unit 300 as the self-fluorescence image data Dj and the reference light image data Ds, and the display signal is generated by a display signal processing unit 400 based on Dj and Ds to display information on biological tissue 1 with the generated display signal on a display unit 500. In the above procedure, the display signal is generated, in which the intensity of the reflection reference light and also reference intensity of the self-fluorescence Kj are reflected.
