PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save space by preventing a vibratory resonance from occurring. SOLUTION: A pair of shape steels 20 are disposed opposedly to and integrally with each other so as to form a vertical frame 22, the upper ends of a pair of vertical frames 22 are connected to each other through a cross head 23, and the lower ends of the pair of vertical frames 22 are connected to each other through a plank 24 so as to form a car frame 25. A guide unit 32 having a pair of electro magnets 35 and 36 opposed to both side faces 1a and 1b of a guide rail 1 and a roller 37 pressed against the top surface 1c is installed between the pair of shape steels 20 of the vertical frames 22 located between the cross head 23 and a car 29 installed on a platform 28 suspended in the car frame 25 and between the platform 28 and an emergency device 31 provided at the lower end of the car frame 25.
