<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastering mortar admixture which has high safety without causing any environmental problem and is used as a component of plastering mortar that is applicable to a wide variety of plastering works with respect to plastering thickness and excellent in troweling workability, and also provide the plastering mortar containing the admixture. SOLUTION: This admixture consists of a mixture of fragments which have about <=0.6 mm fragment size and are obtained by fragmenting an expanded body formed by heating vermiculite, and fly ash and/or powdery blast-furnace slag, and is preferably produced by mixing 5-50 parts by mass of the vermiculite expanded body fragments with 50 to 95 parts by mass of the fly ash and/or powdery blast-furnace slag. Thus, the objective admixture which enables excellent workability of plastering mortar containing the admixture, such as spreadability with a trowel, capability of being smoothed with a trowel and separability from a trowel, and has enhanced environmental safety as compared with a conventional admixture such as asbestos.</p> |
