PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasive material recovering apparatus which can reduce the running cost of the recovering apparatus by improving a means for removing coarse solids from waste water in a grinding process, and efficiently recover and recycle the abrasive material stably for a long time. SOLUTION: The abrasive material recovering apparatus comprises a centrifugal separator 2 to thicken a waste water in a grinding process, and a cyclone 1 to remove coarse solids provided on a forward stage or a rear stage of the centrifugal separator 2.
