PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monomer-cast nylon resin which as such has a high strength and can give molded products without containing a reinforcing agent, and a method of producing the same. SOLUTION: The monomer-cast nylon resin to be obtained by polymerizingε-caprolactam by monomer casting has a tensile strength at 23 deg.C, measured in accordance with ASTM D-638, of >=93 MPa and, at the same time, a tensile strength at 110 deg.C of >=49 MPa.
