PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate film for sandwich glass which does not impair the basic performance as the intermediate film for the sandwich glass, such as transparency, light resistance, weatherability, impact resistance and adhesiveness, lessens the occurrence of peeling and whitening at the peripheral edges of the glass when it is placed in an atmosphere of high humidity and is suitable for obtaining the glass having an excellent antistatic property and the glass formed by using such intermediate film. SOLUTION: The intermediate film for the sandwich glass containing 100 pts.wt. polyvinyl butyral resin of 62 to 72 mol% rate of butyralization, 0.05 to 3 pts.wt. compound expressed by the general formula (1), R-O-(CH2CH2O)nH (where, R denotes 1-25C hydrocarbon group; and (n) denotes an integer from 1 to 20) and 0.05 to 3 pts.wt. compound expressed by the general formula (2), R-O-(CH2CH2CH2O)nH (where, R denotes 1-25C hydrocarbon group; and (n) denotes an integer from 1 to 20).
