PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post processing machine capable of accurately notifying a user of contents of a failure on the post processing machine side without providing an expensive liquid crystal display part on an operation panel on the sheet post processing machine side and reducing cost. SOLUTION: In this sheet post processing machine FS performing a post processing for a sheet (recording paper) for which an image formation is performed in an image forming device main body 100, a post processing machine FS is provided with a post processing machine communication part 121 performing transmission and reception of signals between the part 121 and the image forming device main body 100, a post processing machine operation part 131 for sheet post processing operation, a jam sensor 140 detecting a failure at the time of a sheet post processing, and a post processing machine control part 120 in which an operation signal is provided by the post processing machine operation part 131, a post processing operation is started by transmitting signals in operation to the image forming device main body 100 side when the post processing operation is possible, a signal of failure contents is transmitted to the image forming device main body 100 side when the jam sensor 140 detects jam and a main body display part 113 provided on the image forming device main body 100 side is made to display failure contents and the post processing operation is inhibited. |
