PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stable damping characteristics via a simple structure in damping the dehydrating step of an electric washing machine. SOLUTION: For finishing a dehydrating step, negative-phase electromagnetic damping that feeds a reversible induction motor in the reverse direction to the dehydration rotation decelerates the rotation. The feeding time for the negative-phase electromagnetic damping is controlled in dependence on the load. |
