PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for packing shelves wherewith works for packing the shelves can be simplified with restlessness prevented certainly for the shelves during a cabinet is transported and damages can be prevented from occurring to the shelves and the cabinet. SOLUTION: A packing material 3 is temporarily stuck with tapes 4 to the inside of a side plate 2 on one side of a cabinet main body 1 and bent so as to form a triangular column A projecting toward the inside of the cabinet main body, and a cushioning material 7 is inserted into a gap between the end edge of a shelf 6 and a side plate 5 opposite to the shelf at the other side of the cabinet main body, and then the shelf is fallen toward the side plate 2 on one side and the end edge whereto the cushioning material is not attached is contacted with pressure to the ridge of the triangular column, and thereby packing for the shelf is made with the shelf temporarily fixed to the inside of the cabinet.
