METHOD FOR REPAIRING JOINT IN EXTERIOR WALL OF BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure sound repair work for a joint in the exterior wall of a building by effectively resolving the problem of leakage caused by a residual thin layer of an existing sealing material which is left behind because it cannot be cut by a cutter or the like. SOLUTION: In a method for repairing a joint in the exterior wall of a building, the sealing material 3 packed in a joint groove 2 in the exterior wall 1 of the building is removed by means of a cutter or the like and a sealing material dissolving agent 6 is packed into the joint groove 2 from which the sealing material 3 has been removed, to promote dissolving of the residual thin layer 3' of the sealing material 3 remaining on the inner surface of the joint groove 2. A new sealing material 3a is packed into the joint groove 2 from which the sealing material dissolving agent 6 has been removed.
