PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and effectively secure the rigidity strength of a pedestal for holding a seat body freely to be slid in a child seat. SOLUTION: A pedestal 2 is formed of a pedestal body 21 for supporting a seat body 1 and a right and a left side wall members 31, 31 connected to the pedestal body 21 and forming both side walls of the pedestal in the cross direction of a vehicle. A top surface 32 of each side wall member 31, 31 covers an upper part of a side part of the pedestal body 31 and while the side wall members 31, 31 are engaged with each leg part 12 of the seat body 1, and the top surface 32 has a function as a guide part for hindering the floating of the seat body 1 from the pedestal 2 exceeding the allowable degree. Rigidity strength of the pedestal 2 is secured by the side wall members 31, 31, and even if design of the pedestal 2 is changed, generation of the excessive burden in terms of design in prevented.
