PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition which may be obtained by low-temperature firing of <=1,000 deg.C, allows cosintering with Ag and Cu, has a high dielectric constant and Q value, is small in a temperature change of dielectric characteristics, is suitable for high-frequency applications and is excellent in environment resistant reliability. SOLUTION: This dielectric porcelain composition consists of a composition formula, BaO-x (1-y)TiO2.yZrO2) and is added, as auxiliary additives, with a zinc-containing compound at a ratio of 5 to 30 pts.wt. in terms of ZnO, a silicon-containing compound at 0.5 to 6 pts.wt. in terms of SiO2, an alkaline metal-containing compound at 0.1 to 3 pts.wt. in terms of oxide (R2O) (where R is an alkaline metal), a copper-containing compound at 0.1 to 7 pts.wt. in terms of CuO and a bismuth-containing compound at 0.1 to 6 pts.wt. in terms of Bi2O3, per 100 pts.wt. essential components expressed by (3.5<=x<=4.5 and 0<=y<=0.2). |
