METHOD FOR PRINTING GLASS BY LASER AND DEVICE FOR PRINTING GLASS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the occurrence of cracking which arises when laser printing an article consisting of a glass material by using a laser. SOLUTION: The data indicating the patterns for printing is converted to dot data indicating the dots arrayed along a line constituting these patterns. Arcuate array data for printing and scanning each of the dots to an arcuate shape by a laser beam spot is formed. A laser head of a scan type is driven in accordance with the arcuate array data and printing is so executed as to constitute the printing patterns by the plural dots drawn by the arcs.
