PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector securing the rigidity of a connection between building units whose butt side faces differ in horizontal length. SOLUTION: The building units 41A and 43 whose opposite side faces differ in horizontal length are connected together by a flat connector 60 comprising a first connection 61 and a second connection 62 integrated with each other, the first connection 61 matching the horizontal length of the butt side face of the building unit 41A, and the second connection 62 matching the horizontal length of the side face of the building unit 43. Horizontal rigidity is thereby enhanced and four columns 411 and 431 on the abut side faces are integrated together. Therefore, a horizontal external force F is smoothly transmitted from the building unit 43 to the building unit 41A and the rigidity of the connection between the building units 41A and 43 can be secured.
