PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centerless grinding machine and a grinding method capable of improving a friction coefficient of an adjusting wheel, increasing center height quantity without being hollowed by chattering phenomenon, and further improving roundness of a grinding-processed cylindrical base body, and the grinding-processed cylindrical base body having precise roundness. SOLUTION: In this centerless grinding machine 100 provided with a circumferentially movable columnar grinding tool 102, a circumferentially movable columnar adjusting wheel 104 provided to be apart from the grinding tool 102 to face it, and a grinding liquid supply means 106 to supply grinding liquid between the adjusting wheel 104 and the grinding tool 102, a groove substantially along a circumferential movement direction A of the adjusting wheel 104 is formed in a circumferential surface of the adjusting wheel 104 to provide the centerless grinding machine, a grinding method using the centerless grinding machine, and a grinding-processed cylindrical base body to which a surface grinding process is applied in the grinding method.
