PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing of an electric machine, in particular a motor- driven tool, assuring an improved protection of connection cables against a hard flexure. SOLUTION: The casing of electric machine, in particular motor-driven tool, includes a casing 12 having a leadout hole 19 for electric connection cables 18, which are threaded through a bent protection sleeve 20 connected with the leadout hole, wherein a cable portion 25 is guided in the vertical direction by a vertically long stretching hose 22 of the sleeve in the leadout direction specified thereby, and the leadout hole is arranged so that the connection cables are guided along the casing wall throughout the division specified outside the casing.
