PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope for home care by which deglutition is easy without sedation and operation to pull back oral capsule part reached to stomach is performed easily and without fail. SOLUTION: The outer shape of the base end of the capsule body 22 is formed as an outer shape variable part 22b which gradually changes its outer diameter continuously larger as it goes to the front end of the capsule 22 from the neighbor of the connection fixing part 22a to which a traction protective pipe 13 is connected. That is, the shape of the part between the oral capsule part 10 and the traction protective pipe 13 is constructed of at least a linear part and a variable part in which outer diameter gradually increases as it goes to the front end of the capsule 22 from the neighbor of the connection fixing part 22a free of catchy parts.
