PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a light-emitting array head, a method for adjusting a driving level of driving signals of the head, an image-forming apparatus and an optical printing head. SOLUTION: A driving circuit 101 generates and outputs Φ1 and Φ2. A driving circuit not shown generates a ΦD. An SLED array chip 100 includes 56 chips and the driving circuit 101 has one circuit for driving the chips. A driving current control resistor 105 is connected in series to a common base of drive transistors Q11, Q12,.... The driving current control resistor 105 is set so as to variably adjust an input voltage value as a control signal for the driving circuit 101.
