PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively and rapidly distinguishing nucleic acid mutation on a gene. SOLUTION: The existence or nonexistence of mutation in a specified gene is distinguished by judging sizes of DNA fragments formed by PCR reaction using four kinds of primer DNAs consisting of a primer DNA having at its 3' terminal a nucleic acid corresponding to a mutant nucleic acid, a primer DNA having at its 3' terminal a nucleic acid corresponding to a normal nucleic acid and two kinds of primer DNAs confronting the above respective primer DNAs. |
