PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visually handicapped person guiding device to an elevator enabling a visually handicapped person to arrive at an elevator landing place easily, singly, and by her himself without necessitating the other person's help even if there is a bent passage. SOLUTION: When a guidance trigger signal 18 is transmitted from a transmitter 17 carried by a visually handicapped person and is received by a reception part 4ax provided on a ceiling 16, the received signal is transmitted to a controller 4cx to operate a transmission part 4by provided at a position B in front of an advance direction guiding the person up to an elevator landing place for a current position A of the visually handicapped person. A guide signal 19 is transmitted by sound waves from the transmission part 4by to guide the visually handicapped person up to the elevator landing place. |
