SKINPASS LINE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING STEEL STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot skinpass line with which shape straightening is stably realized to the wide range of steel grades from soft steel to hard steel and sizes, and a manufacturing method of the steel strip using the same. SOLUTION: This line is provided with a skinpass mill 3, an auxiliary roll 4 which is arranged on the downstream side of the skinpass mill and with which the pass angle of the steel strip 1 is adjusted by pushing it out to the other side of the pass line and a tension leveler 6 which is arranged at the downstream side of the auxiliary roll and consists of at least a pair of work rolls. The ratio of the diameter DC of the auxiliary roll to the diameter DL of the work rolls of the tension leveler is taken as 3-13.
