PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively imparting a shrink proof prop erty to wool without damaging a wool-specific touch feeling, and not giving an environmental load. SOLUTION: This method for imparting the shrink proof property to the wool comprises attaching titanium dioxide selectively at only scale edges by utilizing the surface characteristics of the wool fiber, and imparting the shrink proof property without damaging the touch feeling of the wool by decomposing only the scale edges by irradiating ultraviolet rays. |
