PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To abolish a conventional expensive skin setting robot by accurately performing skin setting work manually in a method and an apparatus for molding a partial skin bonded resin molded object wherein a skin is integrally bonded to a part of the surface of a resin molded object. SOLUTION: A groove part 62 in which a lug piece 12a for attaching a skin 12 is inserted is provided in a skin setting piece 60. Or, a locating pin 70 is provided in a part of the skin setting area A of a lower mold 40 for press molding along the entire periphery of the area A and used as a guide to set the skin 12 to the skin setting area A. By this constitution, the setting work of the skin 12 is enabled manually and setting accuracy is enhanced and a work time is shortened.
