PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyer capable of detecting a sheet end portion and a sheet type while reducing the number of components, and an image processing device provided with the sheet conveyer. SOLUTION: This sheet conveyer carrying a sheet and detecting the sheet comprises a registration roller 8d for carrying the sheet, and a detecting means composed of a detecting flag 18b for detecting the end portion of the sheet conveyed by the registration roller 8d and whether the sheet is transparent or not, and a transparent sensor 18c and the like.
