PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air spring device that can alleviate a sudden pressure fluctuation of its air spring body, because of an improvement on the air spring body without new arrangement of a complex mechanism such as an electrical control system. SOLUTION: An air spring device 3 for a rolling stock chiefly comprises an air spring body 4. Near the air spring body 4, a height control mechanism 14 is placed to control the height of the air spring body 4 automatically. A rubber membrane 8 is stretched across the air spring body 4 to partition a sealed space 7 therein into an upper sealed space 7A and a lower sealed space 7B. The rubber membrane 8 has a plurality of air holes 9, via which air is circulated between the upper and lower sealed spaces 7A and 7B.
