PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide rail supporting device for a man conveyor capable of stably and firmly supporting a guide rail for the travel of a step with simple constitution without needing such a complicated structure as to fit a large number of bracket members inside a side beam of a truss while making handrail belt detaching work easy and efficient. SOLUTION: A mounting plate 30 is laid between a step reversing guide member 27 provided at a reversing part where the step is reversed, and a cross beam 20b of a truss provided near the reversing part. One side face and the other side face of the mounting plate 30 are respectively provided with support members 31, 32. A front wheel guide rail 33 for guiding the front wheel of the step is supported through the support members 31 provided at one side face, and a rear wheel guide rail 34 for guiding the rear wheel of the step is supported through the support members 32 provided at the other side face.
