PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new rubber roller for conveying paper sheets surely and highly accurately conveying the paper sheets. SOLUTION: This rubber roller 1 for conveying the paper sheets has a rubber layer 3 on an axis 2. The rubber layer 3 is formed by coating the core 2 with rubber coating liquefied by diluting a solid-state rubber composition composed of rubber, vulcanizing agent, and filler by solvent. This constitution can easily form the thin rubber layer 3 extremely little causing the outside diameter change so as to surely and highly accurately convey the paper sheets.
