The mobile alarm device is for wireless summoning of help services and has at least one activating component for switching on the device and seeking contact with an alarm center. It also has a memory arrangement containing medical and other relevant information for aid services. The alarm device is capable of bi-directional communication. The alarm device (1) is small enough to be worn on the wrist and is provided with a wrist strap (2). For seeking aid, it is provided with a alarm button (3), next to which is a second button (4) for calling up family members. Possibly a third button (5) can be incorporated for another function. A microphone (6) is provided and possibly a light emitting diode (7).
