<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of cell abolition at the time of housing a slow line on an the side of outputting. SOLUTION: A cell received by line interface receiving parts 12-1 to 12-n are routed by an ATM(asynchronous transferring mode) switch 13 and the rate of it is matched by line interface transmission parts 14-1 to 14-m to be outputted to slow output lines 15-1 to 15-m. Then, when there is a fear that the parts 14-1 to 14-m abolish the cell by overflow, the output of the cell from the ATM switch 13 is stopped and the cell is stored in the output buffers 132-1 to 132-m of the ATM switch 13 to avoid the overflow of the parts 14-1 to 14-m to prevent cell abolition.</p> |
