PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable tracking control even when a track pitch is narrowed by reducing signal correlation between adjacent tracks and making an effect of cross talk random. SOLUTION: An address giving circuit 502 divides the user data at every 2048B, and gives respective heads information 32B of a sector address and a sub-code to send them to an ECC conversion circuit(ECC) 503. The ECC 503 converts the data to code words to send them successively from upward the first column of the patterns of the code words to a sramble circuit 504. The scramble circuit 504 is one performing scramble processing to the data to make them random, and scrambles the data excepting the 32B equivalent to the sector address and sub-code to send them to a frame formatter 506 through a modulation circuit 505. Then, the frame formatter circuit 506 performs required signal processing to output as the recording data. |
