PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet shredder capable of holding the shredding capacity provided by a spiral cutter and a flat current with high durability. SOLUTION: This paper sheet shredder is equipped with a pair of cutter rollers 3, 4 for vertically shredding the paper sheet 30 charged from a charging port 2, the spiral cutter 8 formed around a rotary shaft 10 spirally and the flat cutter 9 arranged in opposed relation to the spiral cutter and laterally shredding the paper sheet shredded by the cutter rollers 3, 4 along with the spiral cutter and the flat cutter is arranged above the spiral cutter.
