PATCH ANTENNA USING CERAMIC DIELECTRIC WITH HIGH DIELECTRIC CONSTANT

PURPOSE: A patch antenna using a ceramic dielectric with high electric constant is provided to reduce the dimension of an antenna by increasing the dielectric constant of a dielectric substrate. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of holes(34) are provided on a dielectric substrate(31) that is primarily made of a ceramic having a dielectric constant of 80-100. A patch(32) is installed on a lateral of the dielectric substrate(31). A grounding plate is installed on the other lateral of the dielectric substrate(31). A terminal pin(35) is inserted into the dielectric substrate(31) through the holes(34) and is electrically coupled to the patch(32). The patch(32) and the grounding plate are made of AgAd. At least one edge of the dielectric substrate(31) is cut-off. At least one edges of the patch(32) are cut off.
