Aerosol-tight filter pressed to absorbing layer by closure is made in the form of plate of electret filtering material with surface density of 200-500 g/sq.m and thickness and air flow resistance ratio of 3-15 mm/mm of water column. Box has low air flow resistance and low height. Filtering-absorbing box of such construction is used for protecting individual's respiratory organs from hazardous gases, vapors, and aerosols.
