<p>The invention relates to a dead-end clamp for an insulated overhead cable, especially a bundle-assembled overhead cable. Between metallic body plates (1,2) there are wedge-like plastic members (3,4), between which the ends of the wires of an ending cable are pressed by means of a clamp bolt (5). A lug (11,12) having an elongated locking hole (9) of variable width projects from both body plates (1,2). At the ends of the tension bail (6) made of stainless steel wire there is thickened section (7) which will fit through the locking holes (9) only at their wider end. The bail's (6) own tension presses the branches of the bail against the lugs (11,12).</p> |
