PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus by which an object, to be driven, for image formation such as a photoreceptor drum, an intermediate transfer body or the like can be driven and controlled with high accuracy. SOLUTION: Pules from an MR sensor are measured, and speed is calculated (S1). Speed information on one rotation portion of a drum is stored in a RAM114 (S4). The speed data is filtered and processed, and a harmonics component is removed (S6). Its result is stored in the RAM114. On the basis of the filtered and processed speed data, correction data is calculated (S7). A value whose phase is shifted by 180 deg., with reference to the calculated correction data and which is multiplied by a fixed number, is generated as a target speed (S8). The generated target speed is stored in the RAM114 (S9). Information (omgtgt) on the stored speed target is used to control the speed as the target speed, according to the value of a drum counter. |
