PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve the burden of a user, i.e., the designation of transfer material information by an operation panel, etc., when an image is formed by the transfer material except a normal sheet of paper. SOLUTION: A latent image is formed based on an image information signal which is transmitted from an outer part, developed transferred onto the transfer material so that the image is formed in the image forming device. The device is characterized by providing a resistance measuring means for measuring the resistance of the transfer material and a transfer material identifying means for identifying the kind of the transfer material based on the resistance of the material, which is measured by the resistance measuring means. |
