PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture recorder by which the management burden of a recorder manager is relieved and also a system is efficiently operated. SOLUTION: The picture recorder 1 receives a recording output indication from a client 6 and executes an output by recording with a recording part 14 in accordance with the control of a main control part 11. As a recording output is executed, an abnormality such as the storage of sheets of paper occurs. When the abnormality occurs concerning consumables, the mail address of the manager of the consumables is obtained from a mail address storing part 16 and each mail indicating each abnormality is transmitted to the manager of the consumables. Besides, the mail address of the manager of the recorder is obtained from the storing part 16 when the abnormality occurs in the recorder and each mail indicating each abnormality is transmitted to the manager of the recorder. In the case of the consumables, the mail is directly transmitted to the manager of the consumables near the picture recorder 1 to cope with the abnormality so that the management burden of the manager of the recorder is relieved. |
