摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a surface reflection caused on the interface between the air and a cover 1 which is applied on a liquid crystal panel 10 to protect the panel 10, and to improve the visibility of the liquid crystal panel 10. SOLUTION: An antireflection film to prevent surface reflection is applied on at least one surface of the cover 1. When the liquid crystal panel 10 is a reflection type, the transmittance T (&lambda;) of the cover 1 for light at wavelength &lambda;, the reflectance R (&lambda;) of the liquid crystal panel 10 for light at wavelength &lambda;, and any wavelength &phiv; selected from the region between 500 nm and 600 nm satisfy the relation of 0.7&eta; T2(&lambda;)&times;R (&lambda;)}/ T2(&phiv;)&times;R(&phiv;)}<=1.3, wherein &lambda;is 450 nm<=&lambda;<=650 nm.
